Introduction

 

Visible Body is an online, interactive 3d reference and study tool. It has illustrations, animations and over 10,000 3d models to help you learn about the human body.

The Visible Body Suite contains several modules including human anatomy reference, Muscle, Kinesiology, Physiology and Pathology models.

 

Also included are cadaver lab simulations, diagnostic imaging,quizzes and patient education videos.

Audience

Visible Body is useful for college students in all medical fields that need to learn anatomy. It is also a great resource for those studying for an anatomy exam.

Uses

You have 24 hour access to a 3d virtual cadaver, allowing you to learn within your own schedule. You can rotate, move and dissect models like you would in a lab. Each element is labelled and annotated. You can also add your own notes and drawings to a section. No lab prep necessary, just login and go.

 

It can also has several helpful features for those with upcoming exams. Select individual flashcards, flashcard decks or quizzes from the Visible Body library or create your own.

Features

Each anatomical element is labelled and includes brief description of the selection. Draw on selected elements and enter notes. Move, rotate, dissect and hide parts of the body until you get the view you need. This view can be bookmarked and saved or shared with others.

 

The Anatomy Atlas also has several options to help you study for an upcoming exam. You can create views of a section and add notes, create notecards, take a standard quiz or create your own. This resource was created with the student in mind.
