About Digital Services

The D'Youville Library provides high quality information and instructional resources for faculty, students and staff to use in the library or at home. The Digital Services Librarian helps to maintain and promote this collection. We can help you utilize these resources for both research and teaching. We can also help you develop innovative ways to use our research tools for your classes or find and obtain new resources. Below is a list of primary service offerings.

Remote Access

Contact the Digital Services Librarian if you are unable to connect to our resources while off campus. We have also created this helpful troubleshooting guide to help resolve some of the most common issues.

Library Resource Integration

Add library resources to your courses without having to scan documents or worry about copyright. Choose from the millions of items in our multi-disciplinary collection . We can help with finding materials, testing links, creating customized search tools and embedding interactive materials into your class.

Tutorials

We have created video tutorials that highlight research methods for different library resources which you can share with your students. We also curate Youtube playlists of tutorial videos from publishers for our most popular databases.

Citation Management

Citation management software can help you stay organized and save time. The library has a college wide subscription to the Proquest Refworks service. We offer instruction and technical assistance for this product and for the freely available Zotero software.
